Upload one 3D model file at a time using the form below for us to 3D print. A librarian will review your print job and format it for best results. We will email you once the print has completed. When you come to pick it up, we will weigh it and charge you $.10/gram. We can accept files in the .STL or .OBJ file formats. We have measured the tolerance of objects printed with our 3D printers to be about .3mm.
3D printing is available for Ela cardholders or District 95 students only. Your library card must be on file with the library and the card must also be in good standing. We can print objects that are 5.7x5.7x5.9 inches or 145x145x150.7 millimeters (length x width x height) and take 10 hours or less to print. We may have to prioritize certain 3D print jobs over others. We will attempt to print a 3D object a maximum of three times. You can only submit one print job at a time per library card number. Usually we print one .STL or .OBJ file at a time. If your project contains multiple parts, you may want to submit them separately.
We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties with this form. To submit a 3D print job, click the Choose File button, find your file, and then open it. Once the name of your file is shown to the right of the choose file button, you can go on to the rest of the form. Do not click the Upload button to the right of your 3D file name.
