iPads

The Children's Department has several iPads pre-loaded with a variety of apps available for use within the library. They have games, books and educational apps for kids ages 2-12. Ask at the Children's Reference Desk for more information or to check one out.

Curiosity Kits

Museum Adventure Passes

Through this program, Ela Library cardholders can check out passes for local museums. The passes vary per museum, but may include free admission, buy-one-get-one-free admission, or free parking. More than 15 suburban museums participate, such as the Brookfield Zoo and Chicago Botanic Garden. Find out more at www.museumadventure.org. A limited number of passes are available on a first-come-first-served basis; passes must be checked out in person at the library.
