Kids’ Talent Show sign up

Attention all performers! Share your epic talent at our first ever talent show. Space is limited so sign up early at the Children’s Reference Desk or contact Sarah at sprokop@eapl.org for more information.
This program is for performers preschool through 5th grade.
The Talent show will be 6:30-8pm Wednesday, November 15.
Everyone is welcome to watch the show-no registration required for audience members.

Total Eclipse of the Sun (NR)

We will have solar eclipse glasses available at our eclipse event on Mon., Aug. 21 from 11:30 am-3:00 pm. Please join us! Because supplies are limited, we do not have additional glasses to give out before the event. In lake Zurich, we will only be able to see a partial eclipse, but we will still have a totally fun time! Weather permitting, we will provide eclipse glasses and solar snacks (one per person, while supplies last). The eclipse will start at 11:54am, peak at 1:20pm and end at 2:43pm.

Due to weather conditions, this program has been canceled this evening and tomorrow night.*

The Lake County Astronomical Society members will be on hand with their powerful telescopes to view the Moon. Weather permitting. Rain date is August 3.

National Library Week
