FAQs

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

All the trails are different, but most walks will take 10-15 minutes.

Depending on the season, a story will be up for 30-60 days.

Librarians in the Ela Area Public Library’s Children’s Department submit all materials for review to the Village of Lake Zurich Parks and Rec department. Once they have approved the title, the librarians then order and assemble the books for StoryWalk.

Please use the QR code found on the last sign of the walk. We read each and every comment!

You may send an email to the library at childrens1@eapl.org or Village of Lake Zurich Parks and Recreation department at askparkrec@lakezurich.org.
