EAPL Receives Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting

For the second consecutive year, the Library is a recipient of the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for FY 2023.

The Certificate of Achievement is given to local governmental bodies that go beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles to prepare detailed and transparent financial reports. The annual comprehensive financial report was judged to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a “constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story.” This award represents the library's commitment to being an outstanding stewardship of our taxpayer’s dollars.
