Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School and High School teachers who teach in schools within the Ela Area Public Library District are eligible for the services listed below.

Teacher Cards

These cards allow an extended 6-week checkout for classroom materials. Stop by the Children’s Desk or email teachers@eapl.org to apply for a card.

Material Requests

  • Preschool material requests must be submitted through this online form.
  • Requests for K-12 classroom materials may be made through your school liaison.
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your materials are ready for pickup.
  • Materials may be picked up inside the library or at the drive-up window.

School Visits

We can bring the library to your classroom, or you can bring your students to the library to:

  • Enjoy a themed storytime
  • Hear booktalks by grade or genre
  • Learn about all the services and resources the library has to offer students and their families

Have an idea that's not listed, let us know! All visits and field trips must be arranged in advance. Contact your school liaison to schedule a mutually agreeable time.
