Ela Library Quilt Talks (ELQT) Exhibit Returns April 1
Returning for the third year, the ELQT Quilt Show takes place in April and May at the Library. This year’s theme is Spring On! and showcases quilts, wall hangings and lap quilts created in yellows, blues and whites.
Featuring 10-15 quilts, the display was originally organized and created by participants of the ELQT group in 2022. The event was such a success, the group decided to do it annually. The crafters meet monthly at the Library to quilt, share ideas and learn about the craft. Newcomers are always welcome.
“The show gives participants a chance to display their extraordinary work,” says Debbie Miller, who coordinates the group and works for the Library. “We usually start planning for the event in early fall by picking a theme.” Previous themes were favorite family quilts and one panel, one quilt.
