Early Voting Begins Monday, October 21

The Library is an early voting location. Any eligible voter resident of Lake County may vote early at EAPL. Dates and times for early voting are set by Lake County and are as follows:

Mount Prospect and Waukegan Public Libraries to Join Consortium

For the second consecutive year, the Library is a recipient of the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for FY 2023.

Performances are held outdoors on the Library's back lawn, unless noted.

Children's Summer Library Program

Step right up for summer fun! Visit the Children's Desk to learn how you can earn prizes by completing reading and activity challenges. Prizes are available beginning June 17. Details here.

Secure document shredding is limited to 3 boxes (banker's boxes) per car.

AARP tax preparation is available for individuals on Saturdays during tax season.

Yarn Bombing Project

Place new hats, mittens, gloves, scaves and sweaters on the Library's Mitten Tree December 1-29. The tree is located in the Library's lobby on the first floor near the Information Desk. All donations benefit local agencies in need. 

Stop by Forge November 1-30 and decorate a picture of a veteran to place on the Veterans Tree. All supplies are provided. Each participant receives a 3D crafted bookmark, while supplies last.
